Dr. Dan Moore is an internationally known percussionist, composer, and music producer. As a Professor of Music at the University of Iowa, he directs the university’s historic percussion program. 2026 marks Dr. Moore’s 28th year at Birch Creek Music Performance Center, where he has served as the Program Director for Percussion, Steel Pan & World Music for over a decade. He is a recognized performer on marimba, vibes and percussion.
